Friday, April 5, 2024 - Nose: pineapple, coconut, hints of cheese, steel, ricqles, jackfruit, vanilla, watercress juice
Notes: quite a tropical nose and I would say despite the clear signature of Raveneau this wine shows quite some characteristics of La Foret with plenty of ripe tropical fruits. I quite enjoyed this wine although Raveneau was never my favorite style. No signs of heat from this hot vintage so I consider this quite some good work. Still young but seems approachable, probably a couple more years would make it better.
