Thursday, October 28, 2021 - Rescue Animal gathering at Jailbreak - all Burgundy (Jailbreak Brewery, Laurel, MD): Expressive nose displaying ripe yet pure white fruit, pear, apple, honeysuckle, sweet spices and mineral. The honeysuckle note reminds me Raveneau a bit. Excellent concentration, nicely layered concentrated white fruit, rich and generous, nice balance and precision, medium acidity and subtle mineral, and a long ripe white fruit driven finish with a hint of honeysuckle at the end. This shows less mineral than the peruses served next. Really nice showing, more like Raveneau than Dauvissat.
