Monday, December 13, 2021 - Amoureuses theme'd (blinded) dinner. Decanted for ~6hrs prior to serving. This was the 2nd bottle of 2018 (coincidentally), with the 1st served during the previous flight. Aromatically similar to the 1st - some smoke, spice & black-cherries. This came across "tighter" than the 1st-btl, but still, tremendous weight/concentration on the palate with plushness to boot and yet, oozes elegance at the same time. Satiny textured and palate-coating, this was already very much enjoyable (the fruit pretty much took front seat). Grand-cru material, and will improve with time...
