2018 Colgin IX Estate

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Monday, February 6, 2023 - Napa 2023: the quieter version; 2/6/2023-2/11/2023 (Napa/Sonoma California): This was interesting to me. I expected the Cariad to carry things for me but the IX Estate was definitely drinking a bit more in my style. More spice notes in addition to the darker fruit. Very soft tannin. A bit more integrated. Both wines are complete babies and need lots of time before you’d want to drink them but there’s good promise there.
