Saturday, March 30, 2024 - Exactly what I would expect at this point. An interesting comparison with the recent 2012 as this is showing much more of the rich fruit of youth as well as the vintage. Very silky and layered fruit with the Vosne spice but it did seem to hit a point where it stopped opening up. I think I'll check back in a few years, but I expect that this will be another fine vintage of Chaignots.
