Sunday, January 20, 2013 - Decanted due to copious amounts of sediment. Beautiful wine, drinking at peak. The first two hours just sang and then the last hour started to fall off a bit of a cliff. Initial nose of leather, cigar box, bitter chocolate and dried cherries. More chocolate and cedar notes on the palate along with pomegranate. Silky mouth feel with well resolved tannin structure. Good 30 second finish. Would purchase again.
