Saturday, September 15, 2012 - Golden yellow, maybe a little darker than last time I had this wine. Smells of fall fruits (apple, pear) and an earthiness (wet stone and dirt) that's different from what I've encountered in a Chard. Tastes similar to the nose with a very long finish. I sense that this wine would have been much better a year ago, it was still very good but I know it had been better. I've got to drink my collection faster.
