Friday, November 4, 2022 - 2022 Excellent Burgundy Adventure; 10/31/2022-11/6/2022 (Burgundy): Expressive nose displaying bright yellow fruit, candied lemon peel, lemon curd, peach, marzipan, sesame/toasted oak, cream, and crushed rocks. Excellent concentration, nicely layered sweet yellow fruit, rich and oily but also energetic and nicely detailed, bright acidity, strong mineral and a long ripe yellow fruit driven finish with sesame and limestone at the end. I slightly prefer to the 18 Perrieres as I find this to be more harmonious.
