Friday, April 29, 2022 - Decanted for about 1 hour. Served with chicken. My next to last bottle. This is one of my favorite vintages of this wine, so balanced. This has a slightly darker fruit (but still mostly red fruits) component than the 2019, and slightly more tannin. This winery deserves kudos for mass producing this beverage and making it available at a reasonable price point. The 2019 is a step down in my book, but most will prefer it for its red fruits and freshness. These are not complex wines, these are decent, simple, pure OR Pinots that don't cost a lot, go well with food and don't suck. The middle ground between Mark West and Evesham Wood. Oh... and no corkscrew necessary. (87-88).
