Showing the evolution and maturity on the nose. Notes of coffee rubbed dry aged red meats, earth, leather, herbs, cherry cola, dried blueberry, pepper, rendered double smoked bacon fat, dried violets, cocoa and lighter hints of innertube, blacktop and back olive notes.

On the palate tannins have fully integrated but are still firm. Acidity is moderate-plus as is the mid-palate density and alcohol of the wine. Flavors follow the nose and show evolved notes of earth, dried violets, dried herbs, leather, coffee, aged meats, cherry, plum, dried blueberry, cocoa, pepper and notes of rubber and creosote. The finish lingers.

Drinking well but past it's glory days in my opinion.
