Saturday, June 3, 2023 - Hawkes Bay Tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Aromas of black over green pepper, savoury black hued fruits, a little sweet spice and polished oak. Juicy with a slightly sour note to the black fruits, plenty of texture which is more woody than grapey, proves slightly drying and coarse flour textured, fruit persists, slight alcohol warmth. Time will help.
