Sunday, October 12, 2014 - Dark garnet color turning crimson at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose is effervescent with hints of eucalyptus, menthol, dark berries, Saint Emilion earth and dried herbs. The palate is delicious and full-bodied with a velvety texture. Flavors of dark cherry, black currant, espresso, dark chocolate, licorice, and spice form the core. Elegantly-balanced, fleshy, and robust. Finishes long and spicy with hints of earth, cloves and thyme. Great stuff! Drink now until 2026. 93+
