Sunday, October 18, 2009 - "Chameleon!" Straw in color. Nose of apricot and mangosteen. The wine really shines with balanced acidity and sweetness. Flavors of peach and apricot start the taste and the lingering finish shines with subtle honey notes. Very complex and it is difficult for me to describe all the layers of flavor. Each taste seemed to highlight something different. The wine smoothed out as it rested and became better over the hour or so it was tasted.
