Wednesday, January 28, 2009 - Sampled at the UGC event in Chicago. Far and away the best '06 Sauternes poured. Operates on a higher tone than the '03 or '01 vintages, with fresher acidity. Yet it still exhibits wonderful orange creamsicle notes. Not classic like the'01, but extremely tasty and worth purchasing if you are a Sud fan.
