Monday, April 11, 2022 - I love how this is developing. Rich and heavy, but there is a good acidity to the wine that carries the experience through to a very long and lingering finish. Classic profile with honey, apricot, sweet lemon, pear. A nice floral note on the nose and a little cooking spice (clove?, nutmeg?) in the transition to the finish. Very rewarding and I think I should drink more if these. A couple bottles left and I think they will last another decade. But really, why wait?
