Tuesday, December 24, 2013 - My wife Fran has a better palate than I -much better at blind tastings where I know what I like but unless its blatantly obvious what we are drinking I'm inept after 25 years with Fran in stark contrast. All that said she asked me" which Bordeaux is this? Can't tell if its right or left bank?" Sorry its my only bottle but this really was a surprise. Particularly coming after a relatively underwhelming showing by one of our napa favorites -pahlmeyer - where the 2001 was undistinguished the Pride was a beaut. Wouldn't wait to drink tho
