Saturday, April 9, 2022 - One of several wines consumed as part of WSG’s science of wine tasting class. Opened and poured 90 min before tasting and retested repeatedly throughout the night. Delightful for a young priorat. Stewed berries, garrigue, blood orange. Really interesting to taste with ginger, seaweed, cinnamon but the most impressive of all was the impact of orange zest—it really demonstrated the concept of 1+1=3. I will have to pair some Garnacha with Duck a la Orange or similar!!
