Thursday, May 18, 2023 - On tour with Tim and Phil day one (Canberra Districts and Beechworth): Double decanted. Medium minus intensity aromas of black hued fruits; blackcurrant; black berry; plum, very slightly reductive, a little sweet spice. Juicy, savoury dark fruit then plenty of firm grippy and grapey drying tannins, dark fruits translate to the palate but it's all oddly lightweight surprisingly. Hmm.
