Tuesday, March 8, 2022 - Return to Napa; 3/6/2022-3/13/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): Funny because I don't really think of merlot for rose but this actually does work. It's lots of red fruits. A bit lighter in style than the Smith Madrone we had earlier in the day but still more in that darker and deeper. I think somehow there's some acid or something that keeps it a bit lighter on its feet. Drinks well.
