Sunday, March 19, 2023 - I was amazed at how ripe, concentrated and balanced this wine is. There is lots of ripe black cherries, blueberries, plums, blackberries, spices, sweet oak and chocolate. Both the high levels of alcohol and the generous oak are perfectly integrated and the wine hits the sweet spot between opulence, concentration, fruit, spice, oak, secondary and primary notes, hedonistic yet fresh fruit and mineral notes.
Highly recommended.
