Tuesday, November 30, 2021 - Return to Piemonte!; 11/25/2021-12/4/2021 (Castello di Sinio, Alba, other various locations): My favorite wine of the tasting. Perhaps the only wine of the tasting that I really liked, but if I had a chance to sit with a bottle and contemplate life, this is the wine (or more accurately, the burlotto family but sometimes I want it all). Tons of sediment in this and it actually pours a bit ‘chunky’ which with time can make the wine more bitter. It is floral and lovely and didn’t affect things too much although a double decant could have been good (poured with a Coravin).
