Tuesday, August 2, 2022 - Showing ripe fruit of the vintage with aromas of honeysuckle and bruised apple. Saline appears overnight. Chalky, light grip. There is a distinct waxiness here. Oak in the background. The acidity is just enough without being lifting or driven. This will need some more integration to show its best. Right now its pleasing in a fresh fruit sense but I don't think this will ever be a classic Chablis. A nice white Burgundy will be good enough. Somehow a bit disappointing considering what can be had from MdT for less. Admittedly this is showing the colors of the vintage.
