Dinner at Iki Ramen (Iki Ramen, Los Angeles CA): The nose is fragrant and polished with classic tones of gun flint, apples, peaches, white fruits, jasmine, toast, baking spices, limes, lemon peels, and saline notes. There is excellent depth and style here that shows off the class of the wine. The Medium bodied feel is balance and deft with crisp, medium+ acidity that leans into a lengthy finish. This is really lovely now and there is plenty of room for growth over the next 3-5+ years.

A bit shy at this stage, but lots of potential! Slim body with delicious lemon and grapefruit notes, lively acidity and a refreshing finish. Give it at least 5 more years, and I think this will flesh out to a 95p wine. For now, 92+

Fresh, lots of fruit and very round. But also lacks a bit edginess. Drinks well but also to easy. Had hoped for more … will see whether cellaring will do the magic ?

Showing ripe fruit of the vintage with aromas of honeysuckle and bruised apple. Saline appears overnight. Chalky, light grip. There is a distinct waxiness here. Oak in the background. The acidity is just enough without being lifting or driven. This will need some more integration to show its best. Right now its pleasing in a fresh fruit sense but I don't think this will ever be a classic Chablis. A nice white Burgundy will be good enough. Somehow a bit disappointing considering what can be had from MdT for less. Admittedly this is showing the colors of the vintage.
