Saturday, September 9, 2023 - For lunch with Wiener Schnitzel with my friend Collector 1855. I really like this. Deep, pretty rich, but also nicely balanced, this is showing notes of citrus, ripe apple, some orange zest, also some musky mineral note (like oystershell) and a touch of pepper. It's medium-full bodied, with excellent persistence, it has medium-high acidity and a long, pretty complex finish. Not surprisingly, this could use a few more years to add conplexity. Very good GrüVe from this great producer and excellent microclimate/Ried. (93+)
