Saturday, March 11, 2023 - Tasted at the Matter of Taste Zurich, Top Rated Wines of 2022 Masterclass. From Howell Mountain, 600-700m elevation hence rather high up. Sweet with a big load of gingerbread, Christmas spice and red and black currant fruit. Vibrant acidity on the palate with a more fresh type of berry fruit. Joe Czerwinski also found pine needle elements that typically speak to Howell Mountain. Delicious, alluring, bold yet precise wine. One of the best 2019 Napa Cabs I’ve tasted so far.
