Friday, November 29, 2013 - Medium red color. Aroma: leafy and cherry, with oak spice. On arrival, a silky texture, with acidity full resolved. Develops moderate depth of flavor, mostly cherry and tobacco. Medium finish. A fine match to Thanksgiving day roast turkey, sage-thyme gravy, roasted root vegetable medley, collards stewed with leeks. grits with white cheddar and green chiles, and orange-cranberry-raspberry compote.
