Tuesday, July 4, 2017 - A little darker and full bodied than I thought this was going to be. This wine poured a dusty rose translucent red color into the glass. The nose was herbal raspberry. The entry was a darker herbal raspberry with a dusty note, clove and sage towards the middle. This wine had a slightly acidic finish. As it sat open, the acidity of the finish really diminished and showed a rather herbal bouquet. If I was blind tasted to this one, I'm not sure that I would have guessed CDP at all. But the slight medicinal, dirty herbal notes all sort of all integrated rather well.
