Wednesday, November 18, 2015 - Quick note: Nice golden colour, oxidized nose (not a fault here!), typically reminiscent of a Sauternes but without the sugar, still very fresh but without the green citrus notes found when very young. Full-flavoured, still lively but the youthful grip has loosened up. The élevage and the acidity are fully integrated. Not very complex but a joy to drink, like a slightly oxidized and dry Sauternes. Still has some years left; will not improve but will mellow out. Can still handle full-flavoured fare like fish couscous.
