Saturday, December 16, 2023 - K&L Bordeaux Tasting: 13.5% ABV. Medium ruby appearance. Black fruit, anise, blackcurrant leaf, capsicum, dark chocolate. A bit more herbaceous than I prefer. Tannins not ready, but not offensive either. Acidity is good, not great given the ripeness of the fruit. Elegant mouthfeel. Needs more time to develop, feels clumsy right now.
