Saturday, July 29, 2023 - Still too young, opened this expecting it to be a bit more approachable. Very austere, a lovely dark purple color. The nose is very bordeaux with a lot of small red and blue fruits, raspberry, blueberry, cassis and cranberry. On the palate it's obviously not bordeaux and you get a lot more Chilean notes coming from the Carmenere, green pepper, spice, smoke along with cherry and cranberry again. It's a very well made wine that has a lot to offer. I'd like to try a much older version of this but I still think that the price tag is a bit much for what you get, and I got it for 130$ (USD)
