Much less tannic that my last bottle a year ago but will need another 3 years to really start showing it's stuff I think. Extremely powerful syrah with notes of chocolate, lilac, and blackberry. Fantastic acidity that manages to make it seem lighter than it is, I really enjoyed this bottle and found it to be better than i remembered. I've had a lot of top shelf syrah lately including La Chapelle's, SQN's, and LaLa's and I think this could hang with them with just a little more bottle age.
