Friday, September 3, 2021 - Tasted double blind. No notes taken. This was quite a surprise as everybody guessed this too be much younger (my guess was 50/60s Bdx). Despite not being from a particularly good vintage, this wine was not only alive but it showed beautiful. Full of life, good tension and concentration, nice expressive fruit core, good sweetness, and all the tertiary aromas. Not highly complex and medium precision only but still a very nice wine and fun to drink. 93/94 pts.
