Sunday, December 24, 2023 - Good amarone. Not an amazing one. Heavy on alcohol but they always are. Nose is a lil mute but u can smell red fruits Unfortunately I didn’t air it out nor decant it. I’m sure it would’ve been better. Still a good wine an I have no problem drinking another. Tannins an acidity are working well together and both of them are doing overtime. Taste falls off but the tannins an acidity linger on afterwards.

An hour later the wine has changed. It has gotten better. Smoother More balance to it. Tannins a lil softer and the acidity is still kickin. In a good way
