Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - Restaurant purchase. Pale lemon hue. Aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry, and fresh cut grass. Medium-light body. Flavors are of the typical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc variety and really mirror the nose. However, an herbaceous streak is seemingly more pronounced than the fruit and could be a distraction for some. Well-balanced acidity. Not much to set it apart from other examples that sell for half the price.
