Menthol, spices, cigar box and black fruit scents followed by a tad grumpy, full on deep mid palate with impressive but fine structure, ending in a powerful and chocolatey finish. This is impressive for Cazetiers, needs 10 years in a cellar to unwind the richness of the underlying materials. We were told that it was highly reduced and needed a couple of hours of air, so if you open a bottle now, you may want to decant this.
