Monday, October 17, 2022 - One hour decant. Deep dark ruby color. Red currant, anise, blackberry, and maple syrup on the nose. Dry, velvety palate, with granular, tongue coating acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.

This is not quite in it’s drinking window. It’s beautiful, but very youthful at the moment. Had this at Cole’s Chop House in Napa (with a terrific steak).
