Sunday, November 1, 2009 - One of the better (and most unusual) bottles I've had from Cadence. Very dark color, with a nose of muted dark fruits. Taste like a delicious glass of dark fruits, combined with a very solid structure core of good acidity and smooth tannins. Only the second time I've had straight Petit Verdot, and it did not disappoint, dark, brooding and tasty. Drinking well now with some time in the glass and/or decanter, but certainly has a good life ahead of it. I've only got two bottles left, so I'll probably wait a year before diving in again.
