Wednesday, April 6, 2011 - WSET Intermediate L7: WSET I L7: clear, lemon, fine mousse straight up. On the nose good brioche, bread, lemon and some toast. Lees left their mark. Dry, very high acidity, citrus fruits, granny smith, and mousse creates pleasant mouthfeel. Effervescence is so much better than in the Moet Brut Imperial I had later the same night.
Value/money = 8. Delivers consistently and therefore fails to really impress.
