Saturday, February 17, 2024 - This pours medium to light ruby in the glass. The nose is immediately complex and classically rioja showing toasted coconut, melted butter, dried strawberry, dried cherry, sage, leather, and touches of dill. The palate shows dried cherry on entry with leather. The tannin is medium minus and the acid is medium plus with touches of coconut and vanilla lingering on the finish. All in all this is a lovely very traditional rioja, drinking wonderfully right now.
