Sunday, April 14, 2024 - Meaty, complex nose, cheese, heaps of barnyard, blood orange, tangerine, and strawberry. More blood orange and juicy golden peach on the palate, and a pretty rose-gold color. Damn that's funky! In a good way, like an andouillette, you just can't stop sniffing. Slowly though, the funk fades in glass, and is replaced with more peach and a light rose petal, along with cantaloupe and watermelon candy. And yet... it still smells a bit like hogshit, in a good way. I swear I mean that in a good way.
