Saturday, June 8, 2019 - Winebar [4 Whites, 8 Reds, & 4 *shared* bottles] from 06/07/19] (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Oscar, THANK you for sharing this OUTSTANDING wine! :)

N: ATTRACTIVE, but TOUGH to parse, though I'd say the Grenache was making itself felt, coming across ALMOST Burgundian; Smoke, berries, earth, hints of oranges -- in no particular order; Intensity lurking

P: LM body; Very NICE, ALMOST swtish frt firmed by just a smidigin of astringent pucker which fairly seamlessly morphs into a very LONG, BALANCED finish with a delectable tangy/swtness & very, VERY slight bitterness, which should be a + with food. At its zenith (or poss a BIT beyond?), but should still hold through '22... safely. 13.5% ABV; My EXC+/Exceptional- (94-97/100 on that scale). 91 pts RJonWine (11/25/08) & 89 WS (3/15/94).
