Thursday, December 28, 2023 - Under synthetic cork. Pnp. Maroon with a bit of earthy red at the rim. Lovely modern Italian nose of black cherries and plums, stone dust, ink, charcoal and dried herbs. Full bodied, sweet round fruit extract, good acidity, sandy tannins, slightly elevated alcohol and a long, very dry finish. Sweet tart black and red fruits, more cherry and plum, well integrated charred oak, some blackberry as well and dark minerality. Finishes with sweet fruit and sandy tannins. I have to agree with the Suckling on this one and go with a 93 points.
