Friday, April 26, 2024 - Medium reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of floral notes of violets & earthy/dusty notes, herbs, spices, sandalwood, minerals, orange rind & a slight hint of cedar. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, lush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but it should develop further with additional aging. A wonderful Brunello which will only get better over time.
