Sunday, April 16, 2023 - Expressive nose displaying ripe but cool red fruit, cherry compote, dry cherry, strawberry jam, ink, animal, cinnamon, smoke and crushed rocks. Very good concentration, nicely layered ripe but fresh red fruit, cool and silky, medium acidity, strong mineral, noticeable but fine tannins and a medium long finish. Although there is generous fruit, the overall impression is cool and lean. This reminds me a cooler expression version of Barbera.
