Saturday, December 29, 2012 - Gorgeous nose. Aromatic, intense, and clean. Notes of cherry, blueberry with touch of toasty oaks, nice. Dare I say DRC RSV? Smooth and almost silky on entry, sweet tannins. Low acidity level. Label indicated 13.5% with no heat. Medium-bodied with very good balance. It is approachable now but will develop more complexity as it ages. This wine is about finesse rather than power. Lovely. 93-96 pts.
