Thursday, October 15, 2020 - Consumed over two days. This is past its prime but delicious, still.

First day, this wine took about an hour to open up. Dark, dark chocolate covered cherries, pepper, moderate tannins. No real evidence of the 15.7% -OH.

Second day, this wine was modestly delicious. Excellent body & mouthfeel, a sip felt weighty & substantial. Finished with a PC burger, the weight, tannins, licorice and tar met up nicely.
