Saturday, June 3, 2023 - Hawkes Bay Tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Meaty, savoury, blackberry, smidge of pepper and an earthy underpin. Slightly sharp acidity lends a red tone to the black fruits, it's a bit of tight with a touch of alcohol warmth on the finish. Meh.
