Friday, June 7, 2013 - PnV, then slow ox'd for 7+ hrs. Rich & dense w/complexity as it revealed many nuances over the course of 7 hours. Fragrant aromas of plum, crushed blackberry, leather, spice & vanilla. Meaty & concentrated w/savory flavors of plum, blackberry, black cherry liqueur, black licorice, black pepper, herbs, toast & w/some more air time emerging chocolate & iron notes. Sweet integrated tannins, moderately low acidity, full-bodied & lush moderate finish w/bit of heat that dissipated after some breathing time. Exquisite & well made.
