Community Tasting Note

Saturday, December 19, 2015 - I was skeptical upon opening from the varied tasting notes. Strong nose, matching palate. Dark chery, roasted fig, plum...ripe fruit, mostly mellowed tannins. My first DM. Only had a hint of the menthol and green that I was expecting. All aspects were well balanced. Very good wine but strangely not too memorable. I could have almost confused if for Napa.
