Tuesday, November 7, 2023 - Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): Barrel Sample - Expressive nose displaying pure black fruit, blackberry, licorice, stem, truffle, sweet spices and mineral. Very good concentration, finely layered black fruit, silky and fluid, bright acidity and strong mineral, and a long black fruit driven finish with a hint of sap at the end. There is a hint of oxidative note that needs to be resolved.
